Security Fix
-
The fix in 2.47.0 for preventing reuse of OTP codes during the drift window handled cases where the clock generating the OTP codes was accurate or behind the server’s clock, but was not complete if that clock was ahead of the server’s clock. The database column storing the last use of the OTP code now stores the timestamp of the OTP code that was verified, not the current timestamp at verification time. Note that preventing reuse during the drift window requires at least rotp 4 (released in March 2018).
Improvements

The audit_logging feature no longer inserts a duplicate entry into the audit log for a single logout if the account for the current session was loaded during the logout request (it isn’t by default).
